An illustrator based in London, UK, Dani Hackett uses the inspiration from the every day life oddities, to the mythical and macabre, to bring bizarre creatures and situations to life using a main composition of ink, paint and Print.
After completing a Btec level 3 in Art and Design at Wiltshire College (2012) Dani spent a few years catching up on cult films and Terry Pratchet Novels, and exhibited her work in Bournemouth at horror events and local art fairs, before eventually settling at the University of Portsmouth to study a BA (Hons) in illustration (2014-2017)
She now works as a print designer, with clients such as River Island, Topshop and Prima cosmetics, and is also available for illustrative and graphical commissions, a well as leather customisation.
Dani hopes to fill the world with a little more imagination, a quality that seems to disintegrate in Adulthood, and inspire people to see beauty in nightmares and joy in the surreal.
